Slot Cars

What is a slot car?

 

     A slot car (sometimes referred to as a slotcar ) is a powered miniature auto or other vehicle that is guided by a groove or slot in the track on which it runs.  A pin or blade extends from the bottom of the car into the slot. Slot car racing is an exciting hobby! We stock slot cars and sets from Carrera, Scalextric, Slot-It, Monogram, and others. 

 

We have a track!

     This is our four lane track. 97.75 feet long. Four straights for speed and lots of curves! You can use the track, free of charge almost anytime the store is open. Bring your car or buy one of ours and race against others. 

Don't forget to try out the Drag Strip! ​

     With two lanes spanning the length of the wall, we have a track for slot cars to show their real speed and acceleration! The track includes a countdown light, and it's up to you to accelerate in a moment's notice, and go as fast as you can to the end. Also free of charge, similar to our conventional track, the drag strip is open to enjoy as you try to be the best drag racer.

Here is a look at the cars we have.  This is just the tip of the iceberg. We have dozens of different models, as you can see above. We also carry all the parts and upgrades that you could want including bodies, motors, magnets, tracks, and much more. Cars arrive daily so come see us and we're bound to have something you'll like!
